Jur – À marée basse

The group Jur, named after their Catalan singer, offers us here their fourth album, "Il était fou". Picks up some of the songs from previous albums and other unpublished ones and has been fully recorded live, for an amazing result as it is not a studio recording, which is proof, if necessary, the talent of the musicians!

The voice of the singer varies colors, moods and even languages ​​(French, Spanish, sometimes with some English, but always with this Spanish accent that gives all texts a very particular aspect) to create an almost theatrical universe that the very elaborate and lively instrumentation comes to dress like a set, thus creating a vehicle for the emotion that permeates the texts and gives us the real impression of entering a world apart, in the head of musicians.

There is everything in this album: songs that touch us, that make us smile, laugh or cry, spectacular atmospheres (in the literal sense: we feel like attending a show), oppressive, dreamlike or fun. We take the game and we would like to be with them, in their universe.
