God, this thing is wonderful! I find myself craving it during the day, and at night when I listen to it, it's as sweet as a new drug. YouTube has introduced me to some really exceptional recordings, and this is one of them.

Tholen is a consummate artist, an artist unafraid of taking his time.  Usually I get the music going and get back to work; with this piece I am drawn again and again into the visuals.  It takes courage to take time.  Kudos.

I've heard so many ambient mixes, but even if this is not regarded as that, CERTAINLY has the most universal and cosmic tech sound of them all, taking aside the excellent animation of course, that's just a plus.
BY THE WAY!, at 58:20, my sounds and melodies archive tells me that THAT particular space sound is one that Judas Priest used in their Ram It Down album in 1988, I think is part of the intro of the Blood Red Skies song. Awesomely implemented and developed here.
