actually in the real story the woman sell her hair to buy a chain for her husband's forefather's gold watch and the man sell that guy's gold watch to buy a hairpin type comb which was of sliver so they sell those things for which they wanted to gifted it explains us we even sell or give up our most important things for our loved one
