Artificial Intelligence Discovers over 300 Previously Unknown Exoplanets!

For many decades, Earth and its galactic neighbors were the only known planets in the universe. This was finally to change in 1995: At that time, a team led by Swiss astronomer Michel Mayor succeeded in adding the exoplanet 51 Pegasi b, which is 40 light-years away from us, to the star charts with definite certainty. This galactic milestone, in turn, was to be the prelude to a large-scale cosmic search that has already identified more than 4,800 exoplanets in over 3,500 systems. How the search for these alien worlds proceeds in detail, and how a sophisticated artificial intelligence recently succeeded in discovering more than 300 new exoplanets, we’ll show you now!

The one thing I have thought Super a.i would be useful for intergalactic space travel.

Have we discovered many, any extragalactic exoplanets?

Update; Just read, outside the Milky Way, we have only indirect evidence of planetary systems.

The problem with transit method is that if other stars have black spots like our sun's spots, they will be considered as planets as they also cause the same dimming effect.

How do we know the habitual zone. All we can say is the temp of our sun makes this zone easy for us to detect but sun's further away may range much different than ours. Making their zones way different than ours. So many of these exoplanets may be within their own habitual zones and we over look or deny them because it do-sent fit our definition.!

Just let me know what’s over in Proxima Centauri and if I need to be put in cryogenics to get there because I don’t want to deal with these fools on this planet destroying the only home we have. I’m tired of humans

Postulate five planets in the same orbit, seventy-two degrees apart, what would that AI see?

How could they know for sure if a star has multiple planets all of those planets effect the movement how can they be precise it seems unlikely
