My friend, the circuit you created and the circuit you showed from google are slightly different.. but what you did is the correct way. Ive been checking around videos like this to make sure that the controlling unit is capable of generating DC for the SSR. I couldn't find this info at EBAY.

If you wire the A/C 220v to the SSR as shown in the schematic it will blow your house circuit breaker (hopefully). It takes the two lines and shorts them together via the SSR. Not good!

Thank you !! I was very skeptical that this little plastic box can receive 110volt input.

So, what controls ssr here if you connect both out wires to the net as input to controller? This will be short circuit directly to the electric source

Have you any idea how inaccurate the temperature measuring is with this product?

Tin melts at 449, 42 °F....and according to the BERM REX C-100 the temperature was at 298.4 °F when it did....some tolerance, huh?

Hi, why your lamp is off when you turn on the pid and switched off when you get the temperature? Shouldn't be the opposite way?

Hi, I'm using the same setup to control the temperature of a smoker. But for some reason the fan permanently stops at the set temperature. But it doesn't switch on automatically when it goes below the set temperature. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
Also if I try to reconnect the output cable from the relay it will start to switch on the fan again. Any help please

@quail farm That's dodggy and ultra dangerous!!!! You should crimp forked terminals, just like thermal cuple has... That's rly bad make connection with bare stranded wirel, because tak makes poor/resisitvie connection and under heavy load, wire may get warm and overheat...
