This episode had me like, "Thank you". Until the cop took the license away and ripped it in two.
In another case, this episode made me hate Mrs. Puff. Not just because she broke the law on being away from her post, but also because she blames it all on SpongeBob at the end of the episode, even though all this was her idea from the very start.
I mean, come on! Squidward may have hated SpongeBob, but even he can admit having a soft spot on The Little Square Dude. And while Mr. Krabs is a terrible boss, he does seem to admit to being a parental figure for his employee. Plankton is an evil genius, but he's not SpongeBob's arch-nemesis; he's usually seen as a sort of frenemy.
I know, I don't want to be a bit too hard on Mrs. Puff. But it's hard for me to accept her as a character.
