Of course this is correct, let me tell you something- things that interest you- they arent random, they choosed you because thats what you been born to but not discovered yet. I had no goals for 28 years, just fingers crossed and hoping for best without making goals, but i started searching for my purpose on earth and i found it- skydiving, travelling and improving everything around me what i can. I wish for everyone to find their passions.

Bad thoughts can keep you from concentrating even on things you love.

This is a great explanation for the law of attraction in which “self” is chosen not inherit

Knowledge breeds interest. Question answered.
Less succinctly, interest is generated by perceived extentions to a dendritic structure of knowledge. That is how it pretty much has to work, but the motivation to go through with learning more is partly determined by hedonistic desire and partly just because you can. The latter of which we might call a general hunger for knowledge.

I'm scared to be optimistic but your thumbnails and titles are accurate, fun or any combination of those and intriguing. We need more channels like this, not this provocative and deceptive click-bait. Thank you.

Things that interest you or even those things that you feel passionate for and my not understand in the earlier stages through lack of awareness of self, are in my experience and understanding, things you have a link to or have learnt before.

Such a simple yet powerful idea. Unfortunately you can't be interested in everything that you have to do and learn to succeed..

The interests have us and help us in achieving self-realization. Great observations. Thank you.

So when I play warcraft instead of working, it's my instinct of self-realization hinting at my true potential as a powerful warrior

This is extremely accurate. I relate to what he said about not being interested in exam/study material... my interests have for the last two years been primarily psychometrics, and cognitive, personality and abnormal psychology (among other things). I'm studying psychology at university and, despite my terrible and crippling anxiety due to past failures (which were a consequence of severe depression), am enjoying it. Except... my interests in psychology are somewhat narrow, and we don't learn about those topics that much until second year (I'm first-year). I had a quiz to do on cross-cultural psychology, and couldn't bring myself to read the textbook material beforehand; it was just way too damn boring. So, I took it anyway and tried my best, but only ended up getting 18/30. It's a pass, but still pretty damn shit.

Relating this to education. If a teacher would discover the main interest of every student and use that information in moments of learning - would that be optimal to trigger a motive to learn within the students?

Say a kid who loves pokemon for example. Using his interest when teaching math by lets say count pokeballs - would that be the most efficient way to get him/her to learn?
