Appropriate Technology for Advanced Processing of Agriculture Products | International Webinar

FAO reported that the number of people facing food insecurity rose by 60 million over six years (2014–2019). The COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 is estimated to have dramatically increased the number due to several factors, including major disruptions to the agriculture food system. The need for a holistic approach to strengthening food security has been underlined. One approach is building more resilient agriculture food systems through the adoption of innovative technologies, and one area of focus is hastening agricultural appropriate technology adoption.

In light of this, the webinar on appropriate technology for agricultural postharvest products will be held on November 9th, 2022. The theme of the webinar is “Appropriate Technology for Advanced Processing of Agriculture Products." The webinar will aim to bring together researchers, industry practitioners, regulators, Academics, students, and communities to share and discuss their latest work, best practices, and knowledge in the field of agricultural appropriate technology, and related areas strengthening food and non-food production. This webinar will present and discuss the main issues, which will be delivered by three invited speakers.
