These prized logs were dredged from Romania's Olt River. It is extremely dense and very resonant. Timeless Timber River Oak is also dark, warm, and very musical.

Finished in Natural Satin Lacquer, complimented by custom-plated Antique Bronze hardware, and outfitted with all-new Lux Leather Bass Drum Hoops™, less than 100 of these stunning 6-piece sets will ever be made. DRTT

I've always been a Ludwig drums man myself and I've always felt that the DW sound quality was exaggerated but this Timeless model is absolutely gorgeous. Well done DW ! I'm going to watch this video again !!

I've owned an Oak kit (from another maker) and the lower end frequencies with oak are sooo rich and smooth. I do find 10" toms are choky sounding and snares have a weirdness to them in their sound..but floor toms bass drums are just melted butter on popcorn!!! Yes!!

Sorry never mind. I caught a glimpse of a different label inside the shell during a clip of the assembly and I'm pretty sure I saw a note value of C for one of them

Naw the toms sound flat and not very apealling, the maple/mahogany now those are pure bliss
