I cannot THANK YOU enough for taking the time to actually EXPLAIN what you are doing. This is so much better than other other instructions that amount to nothing more than super fast mouse clicks set to some ridiculous music.

Greatest video ever created. Firefox screwed over half my add-ons, Classic Theme Restorer was one of them. This fixed it!!! So happy, Firefox is not useless anymore. (Firefox 47)

I am using firefox version 55.0.2. I tried this method to enable my IDM. It's not working. The problem is still there. I am unable to reactivate it. Please help.

That't override verification in Firefox 48. Is there a work around?

For those watching it in May 5th 2019, There is a hotfix: type on a new tab of firefox: ''about:debbuging'', and then click on the button Load Temporary Addon, then do on your %AppData% folder, look for the Mozila folder, then Profiles, Extentions, and then selext the .xmi files (pure extention raw file), and they will load normally. But you will have to do that everytime you close the browser and open so i recommend to keep it open (until they do a hotfix on their own)
