The weather was nice so we took the PA28-161 (P28a) on a VFR flight to Welshpool in Wales. This is Part 1 of a 3 part series, we go on to visit Shobdon and Wolverhampton Halfpenny Green.

Here's my report!!: Nice video Ben. Pleased to see the Liverpool transit - wondered how easy that was. Nice to see you flying in the vicinity of SWB and Hawarden, as I became somewhat familiar with that territory recently! All the best.

Very nice mate! The runway a Welshpool looks quite narrow compared to Carlisle and Blackpool! Can't wait for the rest of the series

Could I ask why you didn't fly the standard overhead join and slot into the traffic pattern that way?

You seemed to squeeze yourself in via a direct long final instead.

I've never seen so many transponder code charges in such a short flight.
