I mean Bay doesn’t want to come back. He was done with the franchise with dotm and only came back with AoE & TLK because the studio demanded it, and you can just tell Bay didn’t have the passion for it that he did with the original trilogy. I can tell he’s happier now filling a producer role.

i would LOVE movies about the Bay trilogy bots, but MAN please make it about Optimus and the team, not about humans. we need them to have actual characters. Optimus is so close to being amazing in these movies, he just needs time in screen

I love the current TF movies compared to the previous. But tbf Bay never left tho, sure he's no longer directing but he still is part of the production crew for Bumblebee and Rise Of The Beasts and his name is always on the credits. Director Steven even shared a few videos/selfies with him on set via instagram.

Also when Steven and cast/crew were in Singapore for the 1st ROTB World Premiere (which i attended in person), he said that he "wanted to have the intimacy of the relationship between Transformers and Humans like Bumblebee did, while having the action scenes resemble the Bayverse." So I assume he got some inputs from Bay on set, perhaps the right question is "Will Bay return to directing the Transformers' Franchise?" since he is still part of the production crew for every new movie.

He was against the GI Joe crossover (tho he sorta made Sector 7/NEST inspired by them) which many are actually agreeable to him. In addition, Jongnic consulted Steve (who works in partnership with Bay and scored a lot of his movies including outside TF) for the ROTB soundtrack. I do think the low box office numbers are also due to COVID where people began to prefer staying at home waiting for movies on streaming services instead of going to the cinema.

I don't know why I want Micheal bay back in transformers...i literally didn't like the last two much.. especially last knight was extremely bad... Micheal bay also focuses much on actions rather than character development and plot development...he also made humans the main protagonist...and actually bumblebee & ROTB don't have that issue...
But still i want bayverse back!!!😢😢😢😢😢

What I'd like to See if Bay Does indeed Comeback to The Franchise is a Sequel to AoE That Ignores The Last Knight or a Sequel to TLK that Fixes a lot of The Continuity Errors that was Set Up By AoE
