Springtime in Paris, the Tuilerie Gardens HD 1080p

The gardens of the Tuileries in central Paris are so named as they were created at the site where the tiles (tuiles) for the city were once made.
The construction of the gardens under the direction of the king’s gardener, André Le Notre, commenced in 1664.
Situated between the Louvre and the Place de la Concorde, the layout of the garden has changed little over the years.
In this short video, the music composed and played by John Brooke on an electronic flute organ provides an accompaniment to the photographs taken by the composer in June 2021

Le Jardin des Tuileries tient son nom des fabriques de tuiles qui se tenaient à cet endroit.
La construction du jardin commence en 1664 sous la direction du jardinier du roi, André Le Notre.
