In view of the current Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic that we’re facing all over the world, eating well after critical illness is important to ensure you maintain strength and fitness to help your body fight infection and recover.

Eating well can be difficult, especially when faced with symptoms and side effects like fatigue, tiredness, lethargy or taste changes. In addition, it can be harder to do the cooking or shopping.

This video will describe some general dietary advice on how to eat well to help you recover after a critical illness. For individualised advice, please speak to your General Practitioner (GP), doctor or a dietitian.
