The Top 15 Greatest Double Albums Ever?

In this video, I rank my top 15 double albums. Apologies if the video seems a little lazy today, but I was very pressed for time and I know all 47 of you want your regular Saturday content.

My favorite double album has to be Genesis' 1974 epic concept album The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway. But here recently I have grown rather fond of The Smashing Pumpkins' 1995 release Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness.

Nice list! I would've added Tusk by Fleetwood Mac to that list. For me, the best double album and my favourite album of all time is the White Album. I used to dislike Revolution 9, but I listened to it outside at night waiting for a bus years ago, and it suddenly clicked with me. SInce then I like it a lot and never skip it when playing the album. I guess playing that song at home doesn't do much, but at night in town and looking around you while it's playing is quite the experience. Maybe something to try. Also, the White Album in mono is the way to go. It's a much more coherent listen than the stereo mix, and the mono mixes are great. It lacks Ringo's blisters but it's an acceptable sacrifice.
