Analytic prime number theory in the twenty-first century, Terence Tao,
8/7/2023, Warsaw - Numbers in the Universe school and conference.
Lecture 1. Small gaps between primes.
We survey the sieve-theoretic methods of Goldston-Pintz-Yildirim, Zhang, Maynard, and the ”Polymath” project that have led to Zhang’s celebrated result that bounded gaps between primes occur infinitely often. We also discuss the ”parity problem” that prevents us from using these methods to resolve the twin prime conjecture.

Excellent lecture! Approachable to calculus students, cool to listen to and absorb what I can.

If Terence Tao is teaching, we're learning. No one like him.

100 boxes are and just a 1 box which have in 1 millon dollers.
You could try 100 times. If you try once it could be 1/100=1%.
Saddly you lost first chance.
You try second chance, 1/99.
What is percent 1/99?=?.
I think 1/99=2%. Do you agree me?
1/99=0.010101%, here 1/99=2%.
I will be gallileo of math ha.

His mannerisms are SO distracting and he talks to the greenboard instead of to the audience. I'm LOST!
