Ironically, hard mode here is significantly easier than easy mode. Not only does getting 1000 points take forever in easy mode, but the balls speeding up presents a hectic challenge. The balls don't even speed up in hard mode, and each ball is worth 10 points instead of 1, so it's really strange that it was given the "hard" label.
