Beating Hollow Knight Without Dream Nail

A while ago a patch was discovered for Hollow Knight where getting the dream nail was not required to enter dreamers among other problems. I decided I would download this patch and use it to beat the game without dream nail, while also discovering how broken this patch really was.

When they said “where is the key for watcher knight chest” I instantly thought that would be a great addition to the randomizer. Chests requier keys that are also randomized, imagine the chaos

If I remember correctly on this patch you could hit the ceiling in one part of the Hera area and access the dreamer

If I had to guess, they accidentally switched some properties with the normal nail and dream nail. I have a hunch that chests and bells will work just with dream nail instead

This feels like an April fools joke by team cherry, with the goofy glitch it definitely feels like it was intentional even though it isn’t.
