IIT vs Branch | Different job profiles in IITs

Hey everyone who appeared for JEE Advanced! Now that the exam is over, many of you must be preparing for counseling and wondering which IIT and branch to choose. I was in the same dilemma back in 2018 when I cracked IIT-JEE. My teacher told me that there are two types of engineers: software and non-software. Based on that, I filled in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) as my preference for all IITs. But after spending four years in IITs and closely observing the placement process, I realized I could provide better insights on which IITs and branches you should consider.

In this video, I explain the different job opportunities available at IITs and how your choice of IIT and branch can affect your placement. I'll answer questions like whether IIT KGP's Mechanical Engineering is better than IIT Bombay's Chemical Engineering or if it's wise to go for an MNC in IIT Delhi or choose CSE at IIT KGP.

In other words there are few people who become engineers(10-15%) after graduating from IITs and a lot many people who never become engineer but earn a lot of money in different fields.
