As a Christian, this is my take on it. I think it could be interpreted as the last supper painting but it looks somewhat different. I don’t necessarily see a problem with drag queens themselves, but the issue is it being provocative and sort of mocking a painting of Jesus. To be honest I’m sadly used to seeing people on the internet mocking Christianity these days. It’s not that bad but it’s still not really respectful tbh. That is just my opinion pls be respectful ❤

it’s just the fact that they had to mock christianity. they could have done the exact same thing without mocking christians. like obviously you don’t have to be a christian but i think respecting people’s religions is important. whether the religion be christianity, buddhism, or even being an atheist. it just comes down to respect. you don’t have to agree with someone’s religion because you have every right to live life the way you want to, but as a decent human being you should respect peoples religion and cultures. there was so many other ways the messages they wanted to showcase could have been executed without mocking or disrespecting someone else’s religion
