My mom had an affair and left our family as well for another man. She treats his children with more priority than my sister and I. It was about 15 years ago but the pain cuts deep and it is very difficult to repair the relationship. My heart goes out to these men.

How could she? I was divorced after a 2 year marriage and raised my son to 18 when I met my police officer husband and married 38 years until I lost him.I wouldn't ever give my son up.

I'm 43 and my mom is my best friend! She had me when she was 20. She is also very close to my daughter who is 20. The 3 of us are very close and I am thankful for her every single day.

I'm a mom of a three and two year old, and I really cried when the guy said that he was two years old when his mom left. I couldn't even imagine my kids asking for me and my husband not being able to give them good explanation. Breaks my heart all around. My husband went through something similar with his other three siblings

My mom abandoned our family. The guilt drove her to suicide. I understand, as many do, the pain of abandonment. Hopefully the mom will have a wake-up call and take full responsibility for the pain she's caused and spend her life fixing and improving it. If she never comes to that point and forgives herself and devotes herself to fixing her family, the guilt may drive her to do the same. Then again, she has to have a conscience to even take the first step.

A real mother would never just abandon her children deep down inside those men are still the little boys that were left in that hotel room by their mother even if they don't realize it
