Back this manager, folks. Give him time... Jurgen was at liverpool for 10 years. "Ange out" people need to get a grip

Ange has given his players plenty of time to move the ball forward with speed and precision. He has had enough, no more Mr nice guy. Go Ange!COYS

Makes no sense when the goal of football is to score goals, but then these weak-minded and overpaid footballers do NOT SHOOT and instead pass backwards . It’s pathetic man. Train all week, get to the game, then don’t shoot. Diabolical.

THIS is what I've been waiting to see, more much more of this.

Ship the players out who don’t want to be part of this transition. This collapse in performance/results has come at the perfect time. Ange now knows who are the players that are willing to adapt and the ones who won’t/can’t adapt.

Loved every second of it, because I know the problem was the players not the manager. They always disappoint the managers.

Ange has given the players the blueprint but i'm afraid the majority of these players dont mirror the same hunger or ambition as he does for the club. Ange knew his biggest hurdle would be to change the player's mentality, to trust in the process whatever the results in the short term because history shows it always produces success. Get ready for a big clearout this summer. This man is ruthless.

I’m a life long Spurs supporter (60 yrs) and I have finally come to the conclusion that there is a segment of our supporters who are whingers all day every day. Let Ange do what he has done at other clubs with the full backing from the board. Then we can evaluate his tenure.

He is right, all we do is pass backwards, afraid to shoot and waste good chances when around the box

Our guys should be ashamed, embarrassing the manager and club the way they did

He is MUCH too good for Tottenham and their losers mentality. Hopefully he will go to a team that really appreciates him !!

Early on in the season they were passing forward and quicker but it seems like as time has gone on, they have slowed it down, passing backwards, sideways, short passes between them whilst the other team gets back into shape to block everything off.

Was wondering where the fast paced, forward moving spurs went as that is Ange ball is??

Is it one of the coaching staff that is putting that negative, slow, back passing mentality in the team??

He has a point. I hate football when they pass back all the time. Some teams attack and get to 18 yard box and decide to go back all the way to the keeper Why????

Haha, my partner supports Spuds and she was yelling the same thing!!

He’s right. All the previous Spurs teams habitually passed the ball sideways and backwards. They weren’t bothered about winning the league or cups. The modern footballer plays for lucrative contracts. The best thing Ange can do, is promote youth team players to the first team.

He was telling them to press and stop passing backwards, but more to press as them retreating was inviting the press from Chelsea when we did win the ball which subsequently resulted in us passing backwards, as the saying goes, you can lead the horse to water but you can't teach it to drink, it's cowardice at times from players but football is 90% psychological at this level
