Trump environment nominee struggles to answer basic climate questions

Kathleen Hartnett White struggles to answer basic questions posed by the Senate committee on environment and public works on Thursday. Hartnett White, Trump’s nominee for the environmental quality council chair, had difficulty answering questions from Senators Ben Cardin and Sheldon Whitehouse on green house emissions and climate science

She has a degree in east-asian studies and comparitive religion. She tried to doctrate in that field, but failed. She also tried to pursue a degree in law, but failed aswell. How does someone with these credentials end up as the top environmental advisor nominee ? I don't get it. I was mad when Scott Pruitt got appointed head of the EPA, but this is just infuriating.

sorry, but EXCUSE ME! Stop talking about climate change and start acting on it. Have you seen what is happening in Australia? Have you seen the Great Barrier Reef? It is worse than you imagine. You have to change what is happening! Our younger generations won’t even get to see the beautiful world we used to live in because we don’t even have a beautiful one now. Hurry up, thank you very much. Make the animals happy, make Mother Nature happy, make our children happy. If we don’t start acting on this, karma is coming our way.

I understand why she struggled to answer those questions. She believes climate change is real, but her position doesn't allow her to agree with the truth because if she agreed or admitted that climate change is real, President Trump might ask her out of the office. All I can say is that she is not a good liar.
