Interview with Montreal artist Anémone.

Growing Up is a pop album with strong soul and R&B influences, but it also features a pop-rock track, and another one with strong jazz influences. The electric guitar is omnipresent since it's Anemone's main instrument. You'll also find trumpet, tenor sax in "Someone New", and alto and tenor sax in "Saturday Night".
Influenced by many artists, this EP combines different musical styles and draws inspiration from artists such as Robert Glasper and Erykah Badu for its R&B/neo-soul elements and from Olivia Rodrigo, Charlotte Cardin and Taylor Swift for the pop flavour.
