Why would you want to run Windows Server 2022 on ESXi 6.0? Perhaps you have older hardware lying around that you want to use to test stuff out or to learn the new operating system.

For secrurity reasons we recommend sticking with the latest versions and applying security updates for production environments!

Very interesting thank you. I love messing around with vsphere. Very cool.

We're currently on ESXi 7.0u3c and vCenter Server 7.0u3h. vSphere 8GA was only released on October 11 i think, so we don't plan to upgrade to vsphere 8 until it's probably at u1 or u2. Fortunately our CPUs, NICs HBA and DAS etc are all compatible according to compatibility guide.
