I checked the terminal and it actually applied the artificial MAC address. However it shows a different MAC address when I check it in the Network app. Is there something wrong?

it did not work for me i am using a hackintosh with catalina and in terminal it lists the new mac adress but when i hold the option key and click wifi in the toolbar the mac is still the same as before

it does work, however when you issue the ifconfig command, you can see the new mac address, but when you press Option and the Wifi icon on top, you see the old mac address, is this
