They called B.J. "The Phenom" in the description for this video. Vitor is "The Phenom", B.J. is "The Prodigy".

Great quote by Rory in the end - its true, when your going into a fight its only your mindset that matters, nothing else.

i don't understand why people hate on a young guy who's extremely good at what he does, instead of aspiring to become good like him in their own arenas of life!.

very sad

Nate Diaz is one of my favorite fighters in the UFC and I honestly think he can beat almost anyone. Yet this guy threw Nate around the cage like a rag doll and man handled him for the full duration of the fight, and made it look easy. I honestly think he's a sociopath, but man has he got a future ahead of him.

The same ppl that say Rory photoshopped the gash over his right eye/ducking Bj are the same ppl who say Chael's an elite fighter along with ppl who call Jones cocky lol

Finally someone with a great sense of Fighters, and i agree about the Chael comment too, to me he threw that fight, so anderson didnt get hurt for the superfight thats up and coming. But for anyone to say that they'd duck BJ PENN, haha, too funny, watch his last 3 fights, he's DESTROYED them, without so much as breaking a sweat, including the Nate Diaz fight, and that was the fight that made Diaz move back to LW, and i respect Nate as a fighter, he brings it.

I'm guessing u didn't see the UFC 152 press conference where Rory n the media discuss just that n Bj didn't even show up to it

Hendo was indeed injured for 3 weeks before the fight. but still kept on training for 2 weeks with a partial tored ACL in his knee. he was kinda training on 1 leg. he still wanted to fight but UFC officials and medics said he could not fight. Not Hendo's fault.. He was willing to go on. that's warriorspirit. not like jones refusing an easy fight with sonnen. Now he's facing belfort. in my eyes more of a danger then Sonnen would be.

nope not even close. Rory answered all those questions in the press conference.

Your right about mma getting more respect than boxing worldwide. N i said that because Fael said in an interview that he's the highest paid fighter. Then again he said he was the unbeaten MW champ lol

I agree man. The same ppl that say Rory's ducking Bj are the same ppl who think Chael Sonnen's an elite fighter lol. I mean come on in Rory's 2nd fight in the UFC at age 20 he gave Condit a fkn run for his money n he literally man handled Nate Diaz. Now all of a sudden he's going to let someone gash his face up to get out of something? Doesn't make sense to the intelligent mind

Shogun had 3 weeks to train for Jones. Jones had 3 days. Big difference. With that said Dana should have called Gustafsson, Te Huna, or Rogerio Nogueira who are all way more deserving than Fael who has a UFC record of 5-3 n has yet to fight at LHW

You have a point. Chael doesn't deserve a title shot by far. but i think we both know Sonnen is loved and hated by many. It just would have been a good selling fight. good for fans, and money. because that's all what UFC is about. money, money and some more money

It being a 3 rd really tilts this into B.J.'s favor. I think B.J. will take the first 2 rounds then gas and the 3rd. As long as Penn doesnt gas to much he should be fine. But seriously though Penn needs to go back to LW

They offered the fight to Machida 1st but he declined so they scheduled it for Sept 22 but then he declined AGAIN saying he didn't have much time to train. After Machida said no to fight Jones on 8 days notice Dana immediately called Chael. It's not like he called Gustafsson (who's more deserving) It's not like he called Te-Huna (who's more deserving) So u can't say "He stepped up when no1 else would"
N plz don't even try to compare Chael's weak resume to Vitor's lol

damn, he's the next big thing at ww. kid speaks so well also, huge asset to the UFC.

Don't get me wrong I disagree two. But I can understand why UFC and Dana where willing to give Chael the shot. His Silva feud make him very popular ( fans and haters) Everybody wants to see Sonnen fight. he's the biggest trashtalker in UFC history. Jones Vs Sonnen would have been a huge seller. Dana was thinking about the money. that's it.

Jones has been quoted saying Fael won't talk his way into a title shot before this situation took place n a lot of the blame could be put on Hendo too cause he got injured 3 weeks before the fight n he didn't say shit until a week before the fight. With all that said there's never been a champ that defended his belt on 8 days notice. N Silva doesn't want to defend his belt against Weidman who's 5-0 in the UFC. Fael's 5-3. Weidman is more deserving for Silva's title than Fael is to Jones' title

defending good? Condit elbowed him so hard his elbow was hurt. But in a rematch I think Rory would win for sure.
