I’m a big fan of Brisa/Enzo knives. Their quality is right up there, and they have a huge range of knives and prices. Most of all, their customer service is outstanding… Dennis is a really great guy to deal with!

I love Danner boots. Best pair of work boots I ever had.

Review on Amazon was a bad rating. Reviewer claimed it was dull oob & the spine was rounded and the swedge destroyed the baton. He said he could’ve bought 4 mora robust and I gotta say I don’t see how this is any different from a Mora but I respect everyone’s opinion and I still love this channel 💪

They used to sell a bare blade version of the hiker. I put a cocobolo handle on mine. The result wasn't as pretty as I hoped, but it's still a good knife. The tang is about 3 inches long and doesn't taper throughout it's length.

Excellent knife, it is an all-terrain morakniv companion.
I bought it a few months ago and it's pretty good.

Mora still cheaper though 😊 great review, but I’ll be sticking with the morakniv

Briza/enzo makes very good blades for the money. The enzo in elmax is a superb blade. Brisa makes many different designs from nessmuk types to pure puukos. The finnish know there blades for sure. The jakkaripuuko from varusteleka is a damn fine blade too

Great review! I picked up the flat grind version about a year or so ago and absolutely love it! The other thing i will add is ot is so very light, including the sheath! I sometimes forget im carrying it and have to check! Lol
The only gripe i have is: the first week i had it, i went to re-sheath it and missed. It feel to the ceramic tile floor, tip first, and chipped off about 1mm worth of tip! 😱😱😱 But i fixed it up and it still runs heavy in my rotation! Take it easy, Aaron! 🤘

Well, Brisa is a very good company, the leather sheath is great, and rises the price over Mora. But also Mora gives leather sheath options that equals the price. Sandvik steel is for me an excellent choice. I have a Brisa Necker and i m a happy owner, from the fit n' finish. But i will stay with my Mora heavy duty companion (that is beside me, he he), because is trusty, little longer blade, and the plastic sheath doesn't give worries about the scratches you will get in the woods. But if someone wants something more stylish and leather, i m all they way in with that buy. nice video man.

I have a smaller Brisa Necker as my little matey 😊 it has full tang and flat spine. It’s an awesome companion.

I've looked at the hiker as well as a few others they make ( uluu and a nessmuk) I bought 2 smaller blade blanks to make as projects and love them. The necker is a affordable small knife with good steel for money and I treated myself to the scara also with its super steel. Both full flat grinds. The ergonomics and edge sharpness and toughness is some of the best I've had the pleasure of.

I love and use mora, but have enjoyed condor alot too for good design and strength and repeatable razor sharpening ability.

I'm going to go practice my feathers next week. Keep up good work, many thanks from Scotland.

My flat ground hiker doesn't have a swedge, and my flat grind throws crazy sparks. I know a lot of people love scandi grinds and I have some also. I'm a Chef so just comfortable with a flat grind I guess. I have several Enzo/Brisas knives and seem to like the hiker almost as much as my Trapper

Gonna have to try it! Thanks for the review!

G'day Aaron, I like it well enough. The sheath is pretty good, though I reckon a cheaper polymer option would put it more in direct completion with Moras and such. Anyway, it can obviously do a ton of work for a little fella. Would make a good secondary blade to a big boy IMO. Cheers Duke.

I have the Hiker 95 for quite a few years
I put a zero grind on the edge to improve the cutting performance
I find it very comfortable on the hand in all grips
I was happy to pay a premium price over a Mora as I find this knife is a significant jump in quality and comfort
Also the edge retention seems to be better than my Moras
Unfortunately my sheath did not retain the knife well, so I swooped the sheath with my Trapper 95
The Trapper sat better in the deep sheath and the Hiker was held much tighter in the shallower sheath
According to your experience Brisa has fixed that issue
An excellent product
I highly recommend the Hiker 95 as a quality knife

The Hiker costs almost 3 times the amount as many kinds of Mora’s and they both have the same 12C steel. That’s a very very easy choice…Mora wins EVERY TIME!

Thanks Aaron; I like the sheath, but think I will stick with my Garberg.

Very nice knife! I like how you test the knives on your videos. You've helped me decide on a couple of knives with videos like these.
