I’m a Democrat voter that has MAGA friends. I also have some Non-MAGA regular republican friends (there’s a difference between the two, which many people didn’t know). Thankfully we are close and we can still love each other despite different beliefs. We agree that our ability to live in a country that ALLOWS people to have different beliefs is FAR MORE important than anything else.

The people on the other side are not bad people, They really believe with all their hearts that their choice was the right one just like we do.

I've been giving people space online to vent. I know at some point, most of the emotions will calm down, and that is the time for discussions. Right now, just show compassion. Im not celebrating out loud out of respect for them. I know that feeling.

There are very few men (or women) who believe and do what you just spoke on. I agree. We have to have conversations and respectful arguments to hear other people out . No one wants to get someone else's take on things anymore. If we continue to stay disconnected, it will go in a direction most aren't ready to hear about. We need to band together, talk, even in harsh times. We are all we have as a nation. Yes, love will help so much. Also compassion for people. People have so much hatred and it's at the wrong people. I have to check myself sometimes.

People need to hear more than their own point of view. Yesterday I went on tirade for a while, pissed off some Washington citizens. Lo it got it off my chest and maybe they thought from another point of view for a minute. Listen to Washington governors view of this administration.

I love your idea of having discussions, but based on my friend's and family's reactions and words today I fear it's a long way off. People are saying they are moving to Mexico, Canada and even S. America, and atm they are serious. They are full of hate for "the other side"... sad.
