We Boarded the 'World's Most Expensive Cruise Ship' | Regent Seven Seas Splendor

We took a Christmas cruise through the Panama Canal! Our 16-day voyage with "the world's most luxurious cruise line" REGENT SEVEN SEAS stopped at Cayman Islands, Colombia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, and three ports in Mexico.

The less I have to use my phone/device on the holidays the better so the lack of an app, especially one that is almost necessary, is absolutely a pro for me (and I am certainly on the younger part of the age curve for Regent clients). BUT I understand some people who love their device may want to use one.

Elegent ship and cruise fare! Wish "dressing" for an upscale cruise would come back. For some reason seeing people dressed like they are on a Carnival cruise seems like it takes the elegance out of the "most expensie" cruise ship as you listed it in the title.

My wife and I were just on the Navigator over Christmas and New Years. Very “intimate” ship. We had a great time.

Previously we were on Mariner to Alaska last summer. Loved the ship and the people (and crew), didn’t appreciate Alaska. Two crew members remembered us from Explorer and came up to us to say a warm hello. That’s the way it is on RSSC.

Two years ago we were on Explorer for Christmas and New Year’s. Great experience! Sister ship of Splendor. In June we’re off to Iberia on Voyager for 8 days. Next Christmas we’re doing the Panama Canal on Grandeur. Can’t wait. We have a “Penthouse.”

Needless to say we love RSSC.

Regent is the only way to go when visiting exotic destinations. I can't imagine going on any other line while visiting Japan, China and Hong Kong. Not sure it would be my choice visiting the Panama Canal.

Possibly most expensive in this case means you're paying too much for what you are being blindly served .
