A brief theatrical review of some of the events and incidents handled by Fairview Firefighters (career and volunteer) in 2015.
Founded in 1910, The Fairview Fire District is located in Dutchess County, New York. We protect the Northern part of the Town of Poughkeepsie and the Southern part of the Town of Hyde Park and the district is four and a half square miles large. The district is staffed by 24/7 career and volunteer Firefighters and EMT's. The district operates two engines, one quint, two BLS ambulances, as well as a compliments of response and staff vehicles. We operate out of one centrally located fire station, and answer nearly 2000 incidents annually.
