5 Years Later and this is still useful, only a couple months into learning java using android studio. Eclipse seems like it has so much more functionality and I really like the framework provided with libgdx, would love to see an updated tutorial/more content if possible :D

QUESTION: What is a good length for a tutorial video? Longer videos can cover more but could become too long to watch. Please leave a comment on a good video size. Also remember that tutorials only come out once a week.

Thank you much for the
You're a really good teacher. I literally went through 5 other tutorials without my program running : (
But you made clear and easy to follow.
You're a legend.

20 mins seems about right. After all we are interested in this stuff.

I believe that the length of the video isn't as important as the content. By that I mean moving at a fast, but easy-to-follow, pace and covering all the important information and explanations of why things happen that we will need to know.

Why do we need Android SDK if you are using it for Windows?

I think most of us could agree on 20 min videos.

I know that this comment is quite late considering when the video came out, but I have a question. How do we move a project from a computer to another? I tried copying the files in the game folder from a windows computer and pasting it in another mac computer, then importing the folder as "existing gradle project". But I get all sorts of errors. Please help! Thanks.

As long is necessary or even more. What really matters more is that it's informative. Be concise if possible but I'd much rather watch a 2 hour tutorial that's highly informative, useful, and packed with information rather than some snappy 5 min lazily coded and poorly covering just the bare minimum series where when all is said and done I don't feel as if I've learned much more than the ability to feel more familiarized with the topic. I'd say let the topic determine the time, like it's about homogeneous coordinate systems or something give it the time it deserves. Just my opinion. But the more information, the more detail, the better. This will also help for this tutorial to stand out above some or many of the others which barely cover basics.

Couldn't find file badlogic.jpg *Error SOLUTION!*

Video summarised:
Eclipse: Run>Run tab>WorkingDirectory section >tick 'Other'>WorkSpace button>Select 'Assets folder' from either the "Android Folder" or "Core Folder" (depending on how you set up LibGDX)>Apply
