The real Navy Seal in the video is a retired Navy Seal Master Chief. He's also the curator of the Navy Seal database. It has all the names of everyone who has ever made it through BUD/S and earned the title of Navy Seal. If he says you aren't a Seal then you aren't. You can take that to the bank.

I'm a veteran, and I always ask bikers wearing military patches, medals, and ribbons. The majority aren't even veterans and have never served in the military, but they wear what is supposed to be earned.
It's crazy.

Don Shipley, the guy that outs these guys, lives near me, just saw he and his wife having lunch the other day. I pulled my bike over, went up to him said I had to say hi, and thank you for what you do. He immediately got up, shook my hand, and volunteered a picture with him. He's a stand up man.

It pisses me off that Stolen Valor was ruled as being free speach, but impersonating a cop or federal agent is prosecutable. What really gets me is those who actually served but then lie about what they did. If you served at all be proud of that. What you did is probably more than most as it is.

I'm a USArmy veteran. I don't claim I'm a hero or a combat vet, I've never been in combat, thank God. I did serve my country almost the entire decade of the 1980s, active duty and active reserves. Thanks to ALL vets who have served.
