If you go in the game options you can turn it off i usually do so they dont get mad

The best way to get rid of fears is to buy fear be gone. Command your sim to drink the fear but don't do it. X it out then do it for multiple fears. I do that and for the house members by passing it around to inventory to inventory.

i do them cause it makes the game more interesting for me but mods to add more whims are needed since ea is awful at making whims
