Without Val Kilmer, it was always going to be a hard sell. It was the interaction between Kilmer, Davis and Whalley that made the film work so well.

I felt more sorry for Warrick Davis losing his son than I ever had for Disney. They never cared for the actor. They had a potentially promising series but had him play a minor role and rewrote the entire lore to fit their own narrative to the point that Davis only cared about getting a paycheck and leaving the set.

There was a scene where they was escaping a collapsing cave, and the main protagonist decided that was time to go on a self centered rant. My eyes are still rolling to the back of my head after seeing that.

I love how he acts like the show was some sort of misunderstood masterpiece. It was shit. Everything about it was awful. From the characters to the world building. It was all bad and was a major disappointment to those who were a fan of the original movie. Im glad disney has enough sense to see that this garbage isnt going anywhere and definitely isnt making money.

Turns out that making a show based on nostalgia for a 1980's fantasy film and then wokeifying it into an unrecognizable, disrepsectful mess didn't endear it to the audience who loved the original film. Who knew!

there's a scene in willow in like episode 3 or 4 where willow suddenly has a flame thrower he uses to get the bad guys to run off, the other character with him asks where the hell that came from and willow juts replies with 'dont worry about it' and then its never seen or mentioned again in the entire show. this is just 1 very brief scene that shows just how awful the writing for this series was
