Just to Clarify is a Femo rock-metal band that takes its inspiration from Alice in Chains and Evanescence (and a little bit of Guns 'N' Roses). Over the course of the week, the band has consumed over four bags of lollipops. "That's our inspiration," says Emily. "The lyrical melody was difficult," says Quinn. "But playing was easy." The band had trouble writing happy music, but found it less challenging to write depressing words. "Even a song about rainbows turned into a depressing song," says vocalist Maya. "But it's cool," she adds. Emerson nods approvingly while Quinn shreds.
