Those pickups sound as good as my custom shop 339 did... This is just an amazing Dot. We'll need to change that nut though. It's making me bonkers to see that paper... LoL

I have one of these. Do you think that's "photo flame"? I'm guessing it would have to be right? Not that it matters really. Plays and feels great in the hands

So how are the tuners?
I was thinking of getting a set of those PW for my axe but went for Gotoh HAPM instead. Didn't like gotohs much though. Maybe I'll switch them for something else, like PW or schaller or something.

This makes a nice companion piece for your video about the Gibson/Epi 339. Somebody has put a bit of money into modifying it and it seems to be a mighty fine guitar but I guess people are going to expect less of it because of the humble name on the headstock.

Shame we can't see you pull its guts out this time, that sounds interesting.
