Byu just looked bigger, stronger and more physical then Colorado. They definitely wanted it more too!

That game played out exactly as most expected. Sooner or later, the hype fades when the game is played!

I haven't seen Colorado beat down like that since a 7-6 Nebraska team beat them up in week 2. Huh. Turns out Colorado isn't actually good

The reason why Retzslaff has a higher qbr is that although he wasn’t tossing 50 yd bombs, he was hitting the outs, tricking the defense to follow him giving his crossers time, and taking off for runs and telling his receivers to block. Shedeur was running backwards and taking sacks. Colorado played terrible tonight.

My son and I were talking before the game about how bad a matchup BYU was for Colorado, and that's exactly how it went.

I remember during the season, Buff fans said their team would beat BYU if they were on their schedule 🤔

I really didn't care who won the game. I watched because I expected it to be a competitive game. It's a flawed culture on the Colorado side. You had Colorado players dancing around and celebrating a simple good play or tackle AND THEY WERE DOWN BY 20 POINTS at that stage. In contrast, the BYU players kept their heads up and their feet moving and played with class and passion. This reality will, more times than not, result in a blowout with the deservedly confident and class team winning.. PERIOD.

The commentators for that game were pathetic "oh arent Sanders and Hunter so wonderful, Uh um BYU scores again, but but Travis Hunter" 🤮

Sanders is not a 1st round qb.
He lost money tonight

This is what happens when you stat pad against bad teams and have only 2 wins over above 500 teams in 2 YEARS 😂

Colorado actually had 102 yds rushing it’s just that Shadur lost 100yds running around behind the line of scrimmage holding the ball for 20 seconds before getting sacked

A team that should've been in the CFP beat a team that shouldn't have been ranked. Nothing truly surprising here.

Did we forget 6-6 Nebraska beat up lil CU in like week 2?

Really credit should mainly go to BYU's defense. They have been one of the best defenses all season having given up more than 30 points only once all season while averaging less than 20 pts allowed & being top 15 in yards allowed per game.

Shedeur is the reincarnation of Johnny Football. Exceptional in the pocket escaping rushers for 5+ seconds and then throw it 40 yards. Unfortunately for Shedeur, Manziel had speed and could take off and take it to the house. Shedeur will get crushed at the next level. He is one dimensional and that was great 20 years ago. Now he is a sitting duck(AFLAC).

BYU is decent very disciplined and strong should be in the playoffs tbh. CU has some great players but a few players can’t win a championship it takes a whole team.

The major reason this game wasn't competitive was because Colorado was severely out coached by BYU. Deon made absolutely no adjustments. They have about 3 plays on offense and play defense in one formation.

I'll post what I posted elsewhere.

This game played out exactly the way that every other game played for CU: they couldn't stop the run on defense, they couldn't run the ball on offense, and they couldn't protect the quarterback. However, for most of CU's schedule in 2024, the other teams were so bad they couldn't take advantage of these weaknesses in CU's game.

Excluding the game against the FCS opponent to start the year, CU's opponent's in the regular season had a combined record of 66-70. No team had fewer than 4 losses. Their best win was probably 8-4 Baylor. They had no wins over a team that was either ranked when they played or was ranked at the end of the season.

And, yeah, probably the 2024 team wasn't all that much better than the 2023 team. Why do I say that? Imagine if this team had played the 2023 schedule. In 2024, they played one ranked team (and lost). In 2023, they played six ranked teams (and went 1-5). I'd argue that the majority of the change in record from 2023 to 2024 is due to the significantly easier schedule in 2024.

BRO, TY for saying all that about the Trav drama. It's the lowest, most unloved, grimiest members of society that want to getoff gossiping about young men and women's personal lives. Respect and salute
