Fortnite has taken the gaming world by storm since its release in 2017. As a battle royale game, it pits 100 players against each other on a remote island, where they must scavenge for weapons and resources, build structures, and outlast their opponents until only one player or team remains. But what is it about Fortnite that has made it so popular and captured the hearts of so many players, including myself?

I remember the first time I played Fortnite. It was a hot summer day, and all of my friends were talking about this new game that everyone was playing. I was hesitant at first – I had never really been into video games before, and the idea of being dropped onto an island with 99 other players and fighting to the death seemed a little intense. But my friends convinced me to give it a try, and I'm so glad they did.

From the moment I started playing, I was hooked. The gameplay was fast-paced and intense, but also incredibly fun and satisfying. I loved the building aspect of the game, where you could gather resources and use them to create structures and fortifications to protect yourself from enemy fire. It was a unique and innovative feature that set Fortnite apart from other battle royale games.

But what really drew me in was the community. Fortnite has a massive player base, and it's not uncommon to jump into a match and find yourself playing with people from all over the world. The game has a strong social aspect, and I've made so many friends through playing it. We would talk and strategize over voice chat during matches, and then celebrate our victories (or commiserate our defeats) afterwards.

Another thing that I love about Fortnite is the constant updates and new content. The developers at Epic Games are always working on new skins, weapons, and game modes to keep things fresh and exciting. They also hold regular in-game events, like the recent Travis Scott concert, which was a totally unique and unforgettable experience.

But for me, the biggest draw of Fortnite is the sense of accomplishment and progress that comes with playing it. As I've played more and more, I've gotten better and better at the game. I've learned new strategies, mastered new weapons, and even started to build my own structures more efficiently. It's been amazing to see my own progress and improvement over time, and it's something that keeps me coming back to the game again and again.

In conclusion, my love for Fortnite runs deep. It's a game that has provided endless hours of entertainment, made me so many friends, and even helped me to develop new skills and abilities. I'm not sure where my Fortnite journey will take me in the future, but I'm excited to see where it goes.

I love how 3 of these are battle pass skins that I didn't even get to see at their release (I started C2, S5) so I have no choice but to miss out on them. The only good thing is that I didn't really want them anyway.
