Old flames die hard - Imran & Bilal buy an S54 Z3M Coupe

Back in the day both Imran and Bilal both owned a Z3M Coupe, the at the time lesser loved variant of the M3. There must be something special about the car though, as all too often office discussions would come round to how they both regretted selling them.

As the saying goes, old flames die hard, and the itch needed to be scratched, so here is the newest addition to Imran & Bilal's collection, an S54 Z3M!

As a young lad working in a garage one of these came in but in Estoril blue(the guy was a offshore scaffolder, so it sat in the corner of the workshop for about two weeks) and everyday i would come in and stare at it. Fat arches, dials in the middle of the dash, the quad pipes. Just made it look so cool.

What a great buy! These are lusted after here in the States and VERY rare in the later spec like this. The LMs are such a perfect choice as well. Nice one!

Nice, I have the s50 m coupe, there's only around 450 left from the original 800 odd. Mine has been a garage queen and only done 10k since 2004 so trying to sort it to be as good as it was. So far in the last 1500 miles I've changed 2 O2 sensors, inlet manifold gasket, braided clutch hose, fan and clutch, currently looking at vanos solenoid seals. But man it goes like stink when you wind it up. Came back from Norfolk, in the rain and second gear just spins up, think third is sketchy and will spin in the wet. Crazy, great. mad and weird cars, got to love enjoy yours it looks lovely.

my mom bought one of these a decade ago, ive just gotten my license and ive been able to drive it. its silver exterior and imola red/black interior

unfortunately its only the S52 engine but its still decently nimble

you probably know this, but the sunroof delete on the s54 cars are extremely rare, so awesome buy if that was an accident. Also a shorter diff helps these a lot, I have a 3.91 and 6speed swap in mine, vs stock 3.12 and it rocks

That’s bloody cool. The styling is quirky but it’s aged well and seems to be getting cooler. The LM’s suit it to a tee 👍

They’re bloody tiny compared to modern stuff. Chap on PH has a gorgeous red one.
