Ema was an amazing person to meet and to work with. The most amazing players and musicians also seem to be the ones that are the most chill and easy to spend time with.
Her interpretation of this Ponce work is presented in such a nonchalant way that it leaves no questions unanswered.

Back in 1998 I did a home video playing on my guitar 20 pieces of old Mexico. These three were among them. Ten by Ponce. I think Segovia meant well, but only thr middle movement, por ti mi corazon was by.Ponce. the first and last are traditional Mexican folk songs. But, who cares. Your playing is very nice. Thankyou. Makes me want to bring these pieces back into my repertoire of current playing.

Guitar is probably the most difficult instrument, I am always admiring people who play so well and give such exquisite interpretation .
