Good job guys. I was born in Chicago raised in Indiana. The winters are brutal the crime and racism is a major turn off. If I didn't have health issues I would be in Phoenix too. Beautiful couple. Bless you guys for sharing.

South Phoenix, AZ is my hometown but I live in Atlanta now since 2007 when I was 26. I couldn’t do it anymore. The heat, the dating scene, the lack of finding my tribe all around. I just grew out of it. My family still lives there but when my mom died back in Dec while my girls and I were staying with her, I don’t think I’ll ever be back. 😢. But I do miss the scenery and the grid system streets lol. But I’m glad you all found joy in AZ.

I just wanted to let you guys know that I finally made out here, but I couldn't have done it without watching the videos and "lives". It will be 21 days tomorrow, and so far all I can say is I am glad I made the change. I'll update you guys in about 6 months lol. The information (videos) as well as the extra motivation are much appreciated.

I wish you would have included some footage of the area you live. Restaurants, parks places there. Would have helped with the whole vibe.

I am the opposite, I was born and raised in the east valley, moved away about a decade ago and never looked back. Most retire to Arizona and I retired away. LOL. I do like to hear about my old stomping ground. Take care.

Moving to Phoenix from Texas by way of Minneapolis after the new year. Opportunity is definitely out there.

The snow and grey skies are worse than the hot summer. I think having a pool is a must and it's all good.

I used to live in the North East for almost 50 years, moved out here to Phoenix in 2019 been here 4 years and I absoutely love especially hiking all the trails among the different mountains in Phoenix I wil take the hot dry months of june through September over the cold long dreary cold winters of the North East, even when its hot here during July and August a 2 or three hours north in the higher elevatuons can get u 20 degrees cooler with plenty of fresh water

5:06 Tried the "Black Mecca" thing (Jackson, Mississippi) only to learn that sometimes we are own worse enemy. Got a job offer in Mesa, making that move in 3 weeks. Thanks for uploading, very informative and has me amped to come out there.

It was a sign when cousin said “when we lived in Indiana” As a current “I hate winter” Indiana native looking to get to AZ ASAP this just got my stamp! Thank you for sharing ❤

Grew up in Chicagoland, lived several decades in Phoenix, and went back to Chicagoland for a couple of years a decade ago before bouncing back here. There are many things I prefer about Chicago and Phoenix definitely has gone downhill while I've been here. Too spread out. Crazy drivers. Blinding hot sun. No truly usable public transit. Insane or do-nothing politicans. Low wages. High prices (particularly housing and food). But at least the roads are fairly easy to understand, the winters are pleasant - and the summers, though miserable, don't require shovelling. Culturally, though, we are a desert - dry as a bone, artistically nearly bankrupt, architecturally astonishingly non-descript, and culturally bland (with the exception of the contributions of Hispanics). Glad you like it here. Hope all goes well!
