For the price of the Expedition Platinum, it should at least have cooled seats available in the second row bench or captains chairs. 3rd row seats should be leather, not vinyl. With all the amazing tech, there should at least be a rear view mirror camera option. Other than those zonks, I would totally put this at the top of my list for my next vehicle purchase.

Why is everything a screen in cars these days? I'd much prefer nice analogue gauges with digital surrounds, it's more timeless and gives all the information you need.

I don't understand why ford stopped producing focus, fiesta, mondeo that they sell all around the world. These cars had fan bases and regular buyers that they could continue to sell for generations. Now what? Just make bigger american cars that they can't sell to the rest of the world?

My wife wants a new Expedition but after seeing this creepy video I’m starting to second guess that decision. I think we might find an old suburban and have it rebuilt and upgraded. Ford is completely out of touch with reality. Too much tech, too many recalls, too much complexity, too much to go wrong. I don’t want an overworked V6, I want a naturally aspirated V8. The electric motor in the center console would be a nightmare when the motor/switch fails and your purse is locked inside. Constant exposure to computer screens, at work, at home and now in the car! Give us simple analog gauges please!

If Ford wants to dominate the market again they should focus on mechanical engineering and move away from electronic complexity that makes their vehicles less dependable. Give us an old school luxury vehicle with mechanical innovations and high-tech materials. The fist company to do this will be wildly successful.

Merge this with the F150 Lightning's powertrain and front, and you got a fantastic car. Great looking electric 8-seat car, with capability to perform in rougher conditions. Plus the electrified version could gain a lot of more storage space thanks to the Lightning's massive frunk!
