Fed Just Released 35-page Paper on a FedCoin CBDC

The Federal Reserve issued a paper detailing some of their research on the benefits and potential issues with a central bank digital currency issued by the Fed. The crucial part is that they are asking for public feedback on a CBDC and this is a rare window of opportunity to speak into what the central bank does. It is simply too dangerous to allow the power a CBDC would grant to fall into anyone's hands.

For those doubting the sincerity behind this request for feedback, I hear you. However, I have seen such public feedback help keep the gov at bay - one example being the ATFs reclassification of pistol braces. The gun community stood up, put their name on a sea of voices, and fortunately stopped the continuation of... well, cant call it a law.. the ATF's judgement? ...at least for a little while.

The key is always to offer an option, then change incrementally. We will eventually go digital as everything else. Let people buy the digital currency with paper money. If there is less digital currency available than paper money, people will gladly buy it. Since it's blockchain, the federal reserve will always know where the money is being held. Paper is more attractive to those who don't want to be observed. Paper money will gain a black market value. Total control will never be acceptable. Not even G-d demands it. In fact, free will.
