Refined and HasselGood - OnePlus 10 Pro - Worth it in 2024? (Real World Review)

Today I review a phone I have wanted for a long time, the OnePlus 10 Pro. This was the "sequel" to the OnePlus 9 Pro, marking this as the second attempt to make OnePlus cameras more professional (honestly I thought the OnePlus 6T and 7 Pro cameras were pretty good.) But what about the rest of the phone?

I had my OnePlus 10 pro for about 3 months now and love it. I came from a Samsung A53 was pure garbage. The 10 Pro gets slightly warm at times, but I do not use intensively. The battery life could be a bit better but will make the day no matter how i use it, I just make sure to keep all apps closed in the background. This is a dream compared to the A53. The Samsung had screen issues where I could tap repeatedly and would not acknowledge. It also could not distinguish from wifi or mobile. I constantly had to reboot to browse the internet, it had horrible connection as well and terrible audio sound. I am so happy with this phone; I bought 2 OnePlus 12's for the family and my daughter bought her a 12 as well. Picked up the 10 Pro for about 350. Got the 12's new for about 675 at OnePlus.

You are probably one of very view people that actually remembered this phone exists, this phone went completely under the radar after the 11 came out.

I bought it new on Amazon a month ago and it runs all the games smoothly. Although it has the problem of powerful processors heating up, it performs satisfactorily.

Nice review! How did you get the wireless charger to stick to the phone (around 2:35)? Is it a special charger and/or does the 10 pro have magsafe type magnets in it?

I bought a used 12/256gb one with some small scratches that you can't see for €100, it has the box and accessories including the 80w charger, did I get a good deal?

Just picked up a used OnePlus 10 pro for $120 on ebay. Cheapest 11 without a cracked screen was $270. I'm upgrading from a moto edge 2021 so should still be a nice upgrade :)

Did you have any problems with notifications on Oneplus 10 Pro? I've looked into every notification and battery setting I could find, but my 10 Pro still receives notifications slower and less reliably than Oneplus 9 Pro and Oneplus 5.

I got mine used for 200 bucks, it is in a very good condition. But mine has a problem with the sim tray ejection mechanism, it's hard to get the sim tray out, other than that, i have no complaints.

Thank you for the enlightning video, was looking for an upgrade and made a point to look towards oneplus as they have some of the fastest phones when it comes to performance and charging, don't really take a lot of photos nor do i play games. I'm just looking for a sharp looking screen with good battery life, and a smooth experience whether im browsing youtube, chrome and basic phone stuff such as texting and whatnot without stuttering, would you reccommend this phone for around 250$ given that the Google Pixel 7 Pro is around that same price (where I live)? Would love to know your thoughts on this.

My 7 Pro recently gave out on me due to motherboard issues so i'm torn between upgrading to this or the Oneplus 11 5G. I know most people hold the 7 Pro as the best phone they ever made (which is the reason why i bought it) so I'm not sure if i should stick with this brand or go back to samsung.

Just bought a 10 to replace Google Pixel 7a I picked up late last year that I absolutely hate. Looking forward to going back to Oxygen OS - I hope the 10 Pro doesn't let me down.

I am a OnePlus 10 pro owner from India and already running OxygenOS 14 and probably getting OOS 14.1 in a month or two.
My experience with this device is pathetic in terms of heating issues, its CPU gets throttled every now and then and what's the point of having a flagship cpu and phone when it gets heated and throttles easily and a phone from Nord series performs better than it. Also, OxygenOS now is nothing but ColorOS with OOS as its name and you can get Oppo and Realme devices with more innovative features and stability than a OnePlus with a trimmed version of ColorOS.
By owning this device for 2.5 years, I would never suggest this device nor any OnePlus device. OnePlus was once a very innovative company and a flagship killer but now it's better to get an Oppo or realme, it'll save you some bucks while having more stability.
