My mum and dad used to go and see them live at Blazers in Windsor. They had all the music cassettes and thought they were hilarious. I guess it was ok for its time.

I remember this video and until recently, I hadn't seen this since it came out in '79 and upon seeing it again after 40 yrs, some of it is a bit vague though I certainly remember the Chinese restaurant part.

Shame the video is cut short so I guess this is all that survives of it, maybe due to most of it being wiped and it appears no other video of this is on here.

Regarding the Chinese restaurant bit, the sad PC brigade would have a field day if they saw this, lol.

OMG! That chop suey bit is hilarious. Never seen or heard this song before. So funny. I laughed along with them as a 6 year old in 1978 and, at 50, find them even funnier, as it all makes perfect sense now knowing what all the original songs that they parody actually sounded like. Immensely clever musicians. Anyone that does not like them or find any of it funny must be very sad indeed and need a lesson on how to be happy!!!

I used to find it funny but that was before I married a Hong Konger, lived in Hong Kong for 8 years and now we have 3 children together not to mention the extended family. That said, keep it here don't delete it I've no time for cancel culture.

Aaah, I knew there was a video for this song and I hadn't imagined it. Where DID you get this from???

Barron Knights were meant to be the house band in the Copacabana scenes in Scorsese, s Goodfellas, , but they were doing a summertime special in Nuneaton and couldn't get the time off, , , , sad really.

Loved the M Pop Muzik bit. The silly SJWS and PC brigade will find this offensive

Punnery to bland music! Never thought they were funny back then, maybe in the 60s.

I would love to see the Baron Knights perform this song with all their props in Chinatown in front of an audience of triads. Then let see whether the knights have the balls to say it’s a joke.
