These collection videos are great for getting info on games that I wouldn't normally look into.
Your play-throughs are awesome! I watch one, then read the rulebook, then do a play-through myself, then finally bring the game out... well, with the medium to heavy games anyway.
I have about 100 board games, but I'm totally jealous of your collection :)

Plato 3000 is a Euro-style Rummy variant with a quirky steam-punkish civ-building theme (cards are jobs with special powers). It is ideally suited for 2-players. No fear of trick taking. Joel Eddy does an 8-minute walk-through. I enjoyed the original print-and-play of this called Utopian Rummy. Light, fun, ideal for two.

Ninjato is actually more similar to Stone Age.
Do you also have a game group? That collection deserves one! We formed ours through BGG inboxing and have a great time. We live in a small island too.

i just sold ghost storys its way to brutal to really enjoy it. It doesnt have to be easy but its way to random with the dice  Well we agree with your wife Jen and if you dont roll good dice the game can be over in a minimum  of time not fun at all. Oh and a happy X-mass and a good and prosper New Year, may you do many runtrough next year :D

I think you should give Bonanza a shot with two players.  It is a different game then you would play with 3+ but my wife and I really enjoy it with two.

i think "upon a fable" can be added to the video description, after Ground Floor and before The road to Canterbury.
Why do you say Hanabi kills Rise of Augustus? (I don't immediately see a similaroty in gameplay mechanics between them.)
