Never take a taxi, I heard of those guys holding your luggage and demanding 10k pesos or they will drive off, never take a regular taxi. Always take a grab or a trike.

Flying out in 6 days. Went to the bank and asked what their fee was for PHP, they said none. Of course the exchange rate they used was 6 peso/dollar less, lol. Probably best to get in airport in Cebu, where after a little investigation, is at least close to the actual exchange rate. Also, have an Airbnb for a week then who knows where. I set up a pick up upon my arrival and it was a set price easy as can be. It was 369 peso and it took about 25 minutes to my location.

Should I rent a Airbnb first and then Look for a condo or should I start looking for a condo while I'm here in the US and try to establish a certain place before arriving there? If so should I go though a agency like JRC or come there, Airbnb and then travel around personally and find a place ?

I would also stay away from using Maybank ATM. Personally had nothing but issues with them. Stick with bdo or bpi. But I am sure other have had no issues with them. Landbank is ok too

There are some very nice apartments and condos in North Point. When I come for say 3 weeks, my credit union told me they can make my debit work overseas for the duration of my this true? Also, can my phone provider (T Mobile) give me a overseas plan so I don't have to change out the sim card?
