There is a new book coming out December 26, 2012. It's called: I Am Number Four: The Lost Files: The Search for Sam

No news so far. It's really unlikely. But don't lose hope. Percy Jackson got a 2nd movie even though it's 1st movie grossed just a bit more the I am Number Four movie.

4- The mogs didn't knwo the charm was broken. Or at least I think they weren't sure of it.
3- Phone calls are easier to track than even the items they have from Lorien. And their conversations on the phone would be easier to go back to, if needed. At least with what they have from Lorien, there is no record.
2- The elders may not be able to adapt to earth as easily as the children and also, they may have felt they are not ready to fight back then.
