Legless lizards are weird. There's no doubt about it. While technically a lizard, they sure do have some snake-like qualities about them! I recently discovered how they shed- watch to find out!

Legless lizards kind of look like a mini basilisk. Does any one else think that or am I just crazy?

I showed my parents this channel and now she's finally considering getting me a rescue snake thanks to you!! For the last year or so I've wanted to rescue a snake, this channel is helping my mom get all the information she wondered about keeping a snake and will finally consider letting me get one! I really want a hognose or a ball python and I'm so exited! Snakes are so beautiful!

My cousin has a beautiful legless lizard named Eridan and I have two of her shed skins saved and they're so cool! Under a microscope they look so different than snake skin!

The one thing I love about Snake Discovery is I'm able to go back and enjoy even their older content.
A lot of youtubers I can't watch their older stuff because the quality is bad and I just don't enjoy watching it. But Emily has always been really great with how she shares information and it makes the videos super watchable and rewatchable

How would a bite from a leg less lizard feel? It just seems that you are more cautious with them than the rest of your animals. Or is it the fact that they are wild caught that you are more careful around them?

Maybe the legless lizards need an environment very similar to their natural habitat for them to feel comfortable enough to have babies. A natural setup sounds like a good idea

A couple of weeks ago I happened upon this channel when on an education YouTube video binge. I have been watching since. I sent my sister the video (I believe it was the video about how hard it is to care for Rex). Yesterday I was at her house visiting while she was putting my niece to bed. She gave my niece the option to either "read a bed time story or watch the snake ladies new video"

My whole life has been learning about animals with my siblings and now that is being passed down to my niece and nephew and I am so glad that you make such great videos to share with her.
